Printt is an online printing platform that offers delivery or click & collect fulfilment for documents, whether a single page or multiple copies of a dissertation.

Competitors were eating away at their user base by actively targeting their key demographics and branded Google search terms. Meanwhile, Printt were relying on paid website traffic to drive orders, and seeing their growth stall as other printing businesses actively pursued agreater share of the online market.

Our approach

To appear higher up in prospects’ typical Google searches like ‘Printing near me’,Printt needed to increase their local online authority.

We started by working with Printt to define their ideal customer, and we gathered data for insights into their buying behaviour, so that we could optimise brand and conversion messaging across Google Ads, the Printt website, and social media channels.

To increase the business’s online presence for local searches throughout the country, we used hyperlocal Google Search ad campaigns to target specific areas across the UK.

We complemented those ad campaigns with locally relevant content like guides to printing in specific towns and cities, to reinforce the authority of the website in Google searches for those locations.

 

The results

While spending £93k less on Google Ads, we increased the business’s return on ad spend (ROAS) by 47%, for a 200% monthly ROAS, driven by 19,200 confirmed orders.

With a dependable revenue stream and growing order volumes, Printt’sfounders were able to focus on growing the business and its offering in the UK and overseas. 

The campaign data we gathered was also useful for the founders in negotiating with local printers for their click & collect offering, proving the volume of demand to justify new partnerships.
